Karen Roughton 1978

The photo appeared in Ice & Roller Skate Summer 1978, accredited to R. Roughton, Roy played the organ at Solihull rink.

In 1980, with her partner, Mark Reed, was 4th in the British Championships, but in August 1981, uniquely, they won the St Gervais International Grand Prix and the following week won the Nebelhorn Trophy, an achievement that no British skaters before or after have achieved.
